arts and crafts time! lets re-use cottage cheese containers, make pretty containers

Ready for Arts and Crafts?? I am!!

Here is a quick and easy way to personalize containers that you can find in refrigrator!!

Quick Craft and great for storage CLEAN, PAINT, SEAL AND DONE!

…easy to paint and re-use as anything u like maybe for beads, for Pocket change, for paper clips, who knows possibilities are endless! we all have things we need to group and what perfect way than making a container to adapt your style and needs. Kids lovve these because they can put legos, crayons, any small toy they collect, jewelry or even hair clips or bobby pins.

Here are the  steps:

1) clean container and dry

2) paint first coat- lightly and slowly for acrylic paint

-let dry 30 to 40 minutes for the first light coat

for acrylic paints you will need 2 to 3 coats to completely cover it.

3) once paint dries, seal it with acrylic sealer spray. Again do 1 coat lightly, allow to dry and apply 2nd coat.

done!

you can also grab glue gun and glue ribbons and buttons or beads, get creative!! and show off your artistic skills at home!

 

…use left over paint from any project and its almost next to nothing u will be spending because the container you would have thrown away..and the paint well its left over….and the brush  is re-usable …ribbons are perfect for this if you save scraps, buttons we all have around the house, junk drawers have plenty of items for this craft. cheap, fun and will make your desk or space lovely.
