skin care- tips for day and night time care

For day spf 15 and antioxidants

wear sunscreen SPF15  at least!! SPF 30 if you are at the pool, beach, outdoor activity, outdoor job.

You can wear makeup that offers SPF in it, perfect because you will take care of  sun protection and cover up any imperfections at same time.

2 ways to get antioxidants –

Applying it on your skin-

Day time face cream or daily anti-wrinkle cream with antioxidant ingredients for day usage. They protect skin against sun damage.

Eating Foods with Antioxidants or taking vitamins containing antioxidants. Look for Omega-3s fatty acids.

foods rich in antioxidants and omega-3s fatty acids are known to help improve blood circulation to the skin, prevent pimples, and help skin absorb and retain moisture!

look for these foods-Blueberries, beans, artichokes, fish and walnuts.

At night-

I have mentioned  this in previous posts…

WASH MAKE UP OFF  ladies no matter how tired!

after washing face gently use product that help skin repair itself, use a moisturizer!

Skin needs to produce collagen to repair itself and treat signs of aging. look for these Active Ingredients;

retinoids (may appear as retinol, retinyl, or retinoic acid on the label),

alpha hydroxy acids, azelaic acid, growth factors (some),

hydroquinone, kojic acid, peptides (some), and salicylic acid.

after you wash and moisturize then your  Beauty Sleep- yes get your zzzzz’s its important for many reasons like metabolism and your sanity the next day, tons of reasons…but skin care is my topic 🙂
